Author See Lor has extensive experience in education as a teacher and as a school administrator. She currently teaches at Susan B. Anthony Elementary School in the Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD). She also served in various leadership positions including Site Instruction Coordinator, Vice Principal at Will C. Wood Middle School (SCUSD), and as a Board Member of the Urban Charter Schools Collective.
See graduated from California State University of Sacramento with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential with Authorizations in English, Mathematics, and Science. She also completed her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and acquired an Administration Credential to serve in leadership capacities.
As an author, See travels to various schools and districts, community events, and educational conferences throughout the United States to share her books with students, educators, parents, and school leaders. Her publications are The Forbidden Treasure (2015), The Magic Stone (2015), The Greedy Couple (2016), and The Family that I Love (2017).
See is also CEO of her publishing company, Reading Karma. The mission of Reading Karma is to promote reading literacy for children and to create a collection of multicultural children’s literature where the Hmong culture, history, and language are preserved and sustained for future generations.
