Supportive Living Services (SLS)
Supportive Living Services (SLS) services are offered to those consumers with disabilities who live independently and are designed per each consumers individual need. The most important part of the SLS is that the daily living skills are provided in the comfort of the consumers own home. Examples of the Supportive Living Services provided include: financial management and budgeting, medication monitoring, assisting with self-care needs, meal preparation, household activities and maintenance, parenting skills, social and community integration. The SLS program also transports clients to and from doctors appointments and other appointments, and assists with grocery and personal shopping. The support given to the consumer can vary based on their individual needs. Therefore, SFNC has a separate division within their SLS, which provides 24-hour in-home care. All SLS services are provided in both San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties
