Families in Transition (FIT)

To provide FREE assistance to transitional families with issues of school enrollment. services may include: Assistance with school enrollment, Mediate in dispute resolution, Assist in determining school of origin, Attendance monitoring, Advocate with school intervention plans or treatment goals, Provide transportation for students and youth to school, Enrollment of students into free lunch program, Tutoring, Back to school pack (includes uniform, shoes, school supplies), Parenting workshop (collaboration with SUSD Parent Resource Center), Locating and utilizing appropriate community resources
