Family Promise of San Joaquin County

Guest families stay in a warm and caring atmosphere, including private sleeping quarters, home-cooked dinners, and cold food for breakfasts and sack lunches. Volunteers stay with our guests, listening and talking, reading to children or helping them with homework, and participating in games or activities. Day Center provides a home base where families relax, take showers, do laundry, care for their children, receive case management, and look for housing and jobs. Our van transports our guests from the host congregation to the Day Center and back. Public school buses take children to their schools, and adults with jobs go to work.
