Stop the Hate
Since the pandemic, there has been a sharp increase in racism, bigotry, and xenophobia directed towards the AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) community, reaching unprecedented levels. Hate has surged across various groups, specifically targeting racial, ethnic, and religious minorities, LGBTQIA+ community members, and individuals with disabilities.
The Stop the Hate program is a beginning step that enables community-based organizations, already active in vulnerable communities, to educate residents about recognizing and addressing hate.
Individuals in vulnerable communities often lack the time or resources to identify hate as hate, or may not be aware of how to address it.
This program marks the start of a journey that aims to provide everyone with the chance to live freely, securely, and prosper.
